Order of Merlin
The Order of Merlin stationary grew out of my need for a story behind my Hogwarts crate (more on that in another post). I wanted the crate’s contents to have been studied and passed around, and the Order of Merlin (Dumbledore was Order of Merlin, First Class) fit the bill nicely. I was in an extreme hurry, wanting to get the packaged shipped before the weekend, but I’m relatively happy with the results.
My main inspiration was this sign in Chicago:

I found a font I liked from Letterhead font (tons of great fonts). I played around with their clouds tutorial and created two logos:

I ended up going with the simpler second one. Since I was going to print the logo yellow paper I changed the logo to blue to make it pop off the page.
