I’ve got a bit pocket watch crazy these past couple of weeks. First I made my Mad-eye Moody pocket watch, and then I was contact by Danielle who asked me if I’d ever thought of doing an alethiometer pocket watch. I thought, “why not!” I had a heck of a time trimming the center hole, and you can tell from the photos that I took it apart a second time and retrimmed the hole to make it look a better. This one actually looks much better in person as the camera is so close that it makes the tiniest imperfections look huge (the watch face is only 1.6″ in diameter).
